Movember

Well as you may or may not know it is Movember, (mustache + November). Its to raise awareness for prostate cancer which is a scary thing. It has hit my family, my grandpa actually, but good thing is that he is in remission! It did take a huge emotional chunk out of our entire family, as it does to many other families who have to fight this horrid cancer. So I decided to post about Movember as it is highly important for men, (and if they try to avoid the doctor, their wife or better half)make them  to get an appointment!

As I have stated in the last post,I would put the pictures up of my baking nonsense. And these cupcakes may look half descent, but I wasn't feeling the batter very much. The icing on the other hand, now THAT was delicious! More pics after the link jump!

Cupcakes

So today being a day that is way too chilly for my liking, and just my urge to bake, here are some thoughts of what I made today.
The mini cupcakes turned out okay, this recipe was my first go at it, next time, a little more flour. And less expensive ingredients, you would think that living in Norfolk county with lots of sugar maples, syrup would be cheaper? No.

Tomorrow I should have my hands on a new camera bag,
something small and not too camera bag-ish
On the Acme Made site there is a bunch of smaller camera bags, which you can get
at Henry's ( come to Brantford and say hi to me!) they're all cute, but again small...
I will figure out how much it can hold and if its okay or meh.

So I am a self confessed retro junkie, and well after some blog hopping, I have found my new

Not only is the website super creative, and wonderfully done, but the bicycles and the oodles of accessories make me swoon!
Now I know that I'm here in Southern Ontario, but I can always dream a little dream, no?

By the way doesn't this just look so Port Dover/ Rowan style?

Hello!

Well the weather outside is looking kind of frightful, but that depends on if you like or dislike the snow.
So I have enlisted myself up for a fifty/50 challenge.
Basically fifty days of photos taken with a 50mm lens.
