~ Tropical Pottery Painting~

So I went out with my lovely ladies from Henry's (someone has to have a day job..for now)
We went to Mobay Pottery in Brantford and painted ourselves some Christmas spirit!
We went for ladies night, where you could have brought a beverage of the adult kind and they supply the nibbles.

It was a blast! Although I'm pretty sure I was quiet and in the corner doing my own thing with my new favourite dish. [of which I forgot to take a picture of...duh!]
With a quick how-to and pallets full of paint, fuelled by cream soda, cheese bites & veggies we were off!

The Mad Hatter's Engagement

As an artsy kind of gal, I get super excited when I meet a couple who are also artistic and fun to be around.
Take Natalie and Eric for example, two love birds, who share many things in common, one of those is their love for classic books, and Burton movies. Well how about have a themed engagement along the lines of
Alice in Wonderland? Heck yeah!
We went to work, or should I say play...

Their wedding is in June 2012 & I cannot wait to see the Mad Hatter & Alice say "I do"

Alex and Little Brother Liam

These little cuties are my second cousins, of which I love very very much. I'm so happy that I can take photos of them. Alex is a budding photographer too, hahah. Always trying to take photos with my camera key chain, "Cheese!"
Liam of course is a little young for that, but he was not impressed with getting his photo taken. Luckily I did get a few curious looks from him, as he was munching on his sleeve.

Autumn

Autumn, I have a love hate relationship with you. I love the colours, I love the wardrobe that I get to wear, love the overcast days for photos. But what I hate is the fact that it's dark by 7pm, cold and wet and dark and cold and wet. Get my point?
This photo was taken in my iPhone, using instagram at ~8am.

Technical Tip- Sizing your photos

So you have a file that is shot in your highest quality and you bring it into Photoshop. 

You go to check the image size/quality and you have a minor heart attack! 72dpi?! Fret not, this is the fix.

Holy no posts Batman!

Yes, I know.
There have been very little to no post. Lately I'm  tryin. I really am. I'm just working on new branding, making it all shiny and pretty for everyone. That and I'm working 40hr work weeks, (more if you count all the driving). Not that I'm complaining about work or anything, just I need a creative hiatus from work. Like a week long photo spree, mixed in with sunny weather and maybe some ice cream in Dover. Photo shoot @ the beach maybe...

So I'm going to try to post more often, maybe with a Wednesday feature? hmm... Where's Waldo, five Ws, hmmm... Wednesday Warblers, How about Photo of the Midweek? Just might work...

I'll think about it...and post maybe later on. :)
