Technical Tip- Sizing your photos

So you have a file that is shot in your highest quality and you bring it into Photoshop. 
You go to check the image size/quality and you have a minor heart attack! 72dpi?! Fret not, this is the fix. 

To access this  pop up, PC users Alt+Ctrl+I  for Macs Alt+Cmd+I
The image above, with a resolution of 72 ppi. It will be huge and wonderful for web, but not so great for printing. You will also notice that the only box that is checked is the constrained proportions box.

I simply typed in 300 where the 72 was, it constrains the proportions without creating quality issues.
Now mine shows my dimensions in centimeters, you can have it in inches/cm/pixels/percent, doesn't matter. As long as 300 pixels/inch is showing you are golden.
